I personally thought your tips were amazing. I am of the new generation of TMNT fans, but I have seen the old movies as well. They were amazing, except for the third one. Anyway, please don't hate me for this but I liked the new TMNT movie, and so did all of my friends! The new TMNT movie was better in a way of movement, since a lot of the moves in the new movie could not be done by man in a costume, even with the technology these days. Everybody has to admit when something looks fake, sorry directors and producers out there. I hope that the new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie is in CGI with the same cast, beside Splinter, may Mako rest in peace.

1. Maybe I was a bit too harsh on '98 - a lot of the build up was cool - the attack on the ship for one (although that was ripped directly from other Godzilla flicks) and the giant footprint, yes.

I should have been more specific and referred to the changes that they made - specifically to Godzilla himself and the exceptionally lame characters (generally one note). But you are right - the build up is pretty good. Just goes to shit when GINO appears.

1. No. Several things in the US Godzilla worked. No really. Pretty much everything up to the apperance of the monster was decent. The giant footprint sticks out as a cool moment, as well as being a nice nod to King Kong.
2. Yes. Yes, yes, yes.
3. No. Not in the first movie anyway. And CGI monster fights have a habit of looking wank.
4. Yes. But not too interesting. Most of them are there to be trod upon.
5. Absofuckinglutley.
